FIRST IMPRESSIONS MATTER
You finished writing your content. Now you want to share it with the world. Before you do, copyedit, proofread, and fact-check it first. Your content is a reflection of you and/or your business. So make sure it shows you in a professional light. You only get one chance to make a first impression.
Do I need to copyedit and proofread it?
Yes. Although both deal with mechanical and typographical errors, copyediting is a more in-depth edit. It looks at readability, consistency, accuracy, style, and a clear message. If need be, a copyeditor will also rewrite copy to improve these areas. Proofreading, the final step before publication, ensures the copy is error-free.
