Are you looking for an Editor? Confused by all the different types of Editors. No worries. Let’s figure it out together. First, let’s take a look at how Editors are grouped.

Editors can be broken down into two groups based on the level of edits they offer. The groups are content (analysis) or copy (rules-based). A content edit looks at your story’s ‘big picture’ (i.e. story structure, plot, character, dialogue, theme, etc.). A copy edit looks at spelling, grammar, punctuation, style, etc..

So which one are you looking for – a review of your content (analysis) or your copy (rules-based)?

Working with an Editor does not guarantee that your story will be acquired. Several factors go into deciding what articles, short stories or novels to acquire and screenplays to option.
